Spring Time = Running through a Meadow Time
Tuesday, March 22, 2011
Hello!
So yesterday was the first day of Spring and the lovely city of Irvine decided to welcome the day with rain and winds. Yaaaay. But today is looking better. That's probably one of the best things about a storm; the next day is beautiful and clean.
So let's celebrate the first week of Spring with some color and floral!
So these are my first sitting photos on our lovely stairs and I think that I like standing up more haha. I guess when I sat down I felt like I couldn't really do anything compared to when I stood up. Then again, I still don't really move that much when I stand up. I think it's because standing makes me feel tall when I'm not =).
So this cardigan is from this this cool little thrift shop in West LA. I think it was one of my best days thrifting because (not only finding this wonderful oversized cardigan but ) on this day I bought this AWESOME velvet puff sleeve jumper for one dollar. At first my cousin just wanted me to try it on for laughs, but when I tried it on I loved it. You know that feeling, when you try something on and you had to have it ? Well, that was the feeling when I tried it on. I don't know where or when I'll wear it, but I'll find some opportunity to wear it and maybe I'll show you guys one day. =)
Cardigan: Thrifted || Top: Urban Outfitters || Jeggings: Urban Outfitters || Flats: Nordstrom Rack
So enjoy the first week of Spring! Wear colors, florals, ruffles-whatever your heart desires that makes you feel like running through a meadow. That's what I think of when I dress for a spring day. Wouldn't that just be the perfect day? Running through a meadow, eating a picnic, reading and then falling asleep under the sun. Mmm. Time to research where the meadows are at in Irvine. =)
Until next time!

I love the compass on that thrifted cardigan. It's little unique things like that that make thrifted vintage items so great!

That cardigan is such an amazing find! I love the color and the little logo. Now I've got the urge to go thrifting! Can't wait until you debut your new jumper on here :)
And my roommates have been joking that if I win Governor they're going to start greeting me with "'ello Gov'na!" :P
YAYYY, tell me if/when you find meadows in Irvine! We need to adventure away from our stairs. :P
I really, really love this outfit of yours. Especially 'cause that magenta color looks good on you. :) Is it weird to put that I already miss you, Clem and Daniel? -___-;; Anyway, miss you!

i tried to look for your e-mail but maybe i'm blind? lol anyway, erin asked for advice on taking in a dress and i'd love to help you out :) all i do it lay down a shirt that's similar to the dress and then i pin the sides and sleeves to match the shirt.. if that makes sense? you really just need a reference of where to cut and what to cut. i hope that makes sense and it helps! if not, feel free to ask more questions :) good luck!
