About Us

We are two best friends (and roommates!) who have fallen in love with fashion. After being inspired by several fashion blogs, we've decided to think a little longer about what we put on in the morning. :P So join us as we keep calm & style on!

about erin
Hello, I'm Erin! I tend to land myself in awkward situations and I have a tendencey to say things that sound dirty...but really aren't. My family, friends, and boyfriend are a huge part of my life - if not for them I wouldn't exist (literally!). I love large puppies, hot drinks, sashimi, Disneyland, and anything having to do with love. I hope you enjoy my adventures!

about caroline
Hiya, I'm Caroline! I love photography, Harry Potter, anything related to Disney/Disneyland, corgis, and baking. Most of all, I love my family, friends and boyfriend -- all of which will eventually appear in my posts. :) I'm simple, awkward and dorky - so prepare for that, haha. :D

What Spring Break Missed Out On- The Sun
Wednesday, March 30, 2011

Hello!

So my Spring Break was not sunny at all. At my hometown the sun decided to hibernate for a little while more. But now it's coming out and it's been about 70 degrees and hotter! So thank you Sun for finally gracing us with your presence. Now I can you with more rompers, dresses, and floral patterns.

So for these pictures, Caroline and I decided to go beyond our staircase, and find another place to take pictures. We found this patch of green. Hello Large Patch of Grass!

Oh heyyy. This looks similar to Caroline's post from yesterday. Anyway, a chambray shirt is one of my go-to shirts. (You can tell that I use this shirt alot from all the wrinkles) If I don't like how a dress or shirt looks; I just put a chambray shirt on and everything is all better.  P

Alas we again resorted to another set of stairs. But I think we found another spot! I can see that Caroline tried hard to make my legs seem long. Thank you Caroline!

Button Up: H&M || Romper : H&M || Necklace: Gift || Belt: My mommy's from way back ||
Shoes: Aerosoles

So I hope it's at least starting to get sunny for everyone! So that we can all share in the enjoyment of Vitamin D and warmth and just all around happy feeling that we get when we go out on a sunny day. =)

Awww very cute. I love when you wear your button-down shirts belted over dresses. I'm definitely going to have to start doing that because I love it, haha.

You girls are so cute. And yor smiles make me smile too :) I am so ready for florals and rompers and fewer layers. The bundling up game is startin to get old. I've been wearing lighter jackets when I go out to try and defy the weather but I just end up miserable and cold :( I dot have a chambray shirt, but I've found a pair of shorts I love.

I bet you've been told before that you're adorable. Well, get used to it, because I'm telling you again. You're adorable. I've never liked the Chambray shirt on myself, but I can see why you'd like it. Plus, the romper's pattern goes so well with it! Rompers are another thing that just doesn't work for me... it's kind of like you took everything I can't pull off and showed me how great it can be. (:

I love a good chambray shirt and you styled this one up perfectly! I never thought of wearing one over a romper so I'm gonna keep this idea of yours in mind. :)

And I'm still waiting for the sun to come out. It's going to rain non-stop this week!
