About Us

We are two best friends (and roommates!) who have fallen in love with fashion. After being inspired by several fashion blogs, we've decided to think a little longer about what we put on in the morning. :P So join us as we keep calm & style on!

about erin
Hello, I'm Erin! I tend to land myself in awkward situations and I have a tendencey to say things that sound dirty...but really aren't. My family, friends, and boyfriend are a huge part of my life - if not for them I wouldn't exist (literally!). I love large puppies, hot drinks, sashimi, Disneyland, and anything having to do with love. I hope you enjoy my adventures!

about caroline
Hiya, I'm Caroline! I love photography, Harry Potter, anything related to Disney/Disneyland, corgis, and baking. Most of all, I love my family, friends and boyfriend -- all of which will eventually appear in my posts. :) I'm simple, awkward and dorky - so prepare for that, haha. :D

Black and Yellow 4x ( Like the Song )
Wednesday, April 6, 2011

Hey guys!

Wow has it been awhile since I last posted. I'm sorry! I know that I said I'd post with the bf, but honestly it really isn't as much fun. So spring quarter has started which means almost the end of my career as a college student. Sad, but also exciting. As of right now I know I'm a little tired of school, but also I've never done anything but school for more than half my life. What's the real world like? Well I guess I will find out soon enough!

So because of my internship, I have to wear business/professional attire about 4 days out of the week. Considering I only go to campus 4 days out of the week...I pretty much wear business attire every day! I'm not fretting too much because it's only been the second week and because I have beautiful fashion bloggers that I follow who know how to put together such cute business appropriate outfits! It's almost like I found you guys in the nick of time. =)

I never thought that I would buy anything that had a fake belt on it. Of course you should never tell yourself this because, there will be a time when you will do what you thought you would never do. It's a message from the world saying "Be open-minded"

I love this shirt. I don't wear it as much as I want to and when I do I'm usually wearing a jacket over it which really defeats the purpose. It was a Christmas gift from one of my cousins.

One of the upsides to dressing more professional is that I get to break in my shoes! I actually have a  big collection of random shoes because both my mom and I have the same size. Basically I never really shop for shoes anymore (Thanks Mom!).

Top: Christmas Gift from cousin (Gap)|| Skirt: Thrifted || Shoes: Ross ( Aerosoles)

As usual we were rushing to do this photoshoot, which is why I still had the keys to my cars in hand and the sandals I was wearing right before taking photos.  Anyway, I hope everyone had a beautiful day!

Super cute shoes! So I think it was caroline who left me a comment recently but she didn't have a very recent post so I hope it's okay I'm answering it here
so
a) thanks:)
b) you just make limeade as normal, so squeeze some limes and add water and sugar to taste and then add guava juice. I blended it so it got really frothy. if you want to get crazy, blend sweetened condensed milk into it and then you have brazilian creamy limeade.

The shoes are too cool! Also, if I had a choice I would stay as an undergrad forever. That was such a great time in my life, no responsibilities and all I had to worry about was the readings.
